BIOGRAPHY
Hello! My name is Yvette, and I am a BCBA at Fresh Start(s) Behavioral Therapy. I attended Coral Reef Senior High where I volunteered in the Best Buddies program. During my first semester at FIU, I took Introduction to Behavior Analysis with a professor who worked with B.F. Skinner, the brilliant Dr. Jacob Gewirtz (R.I.P.), and knew for sure this was the field I wanted for my career. I began my internship in ABA in 2010. I started working for Fresh Starts in 2014 as a Breakthrough Partner, received my BCaBA certification in 2015, and then my BCBA certification in 2021. It brings me great joy working with families and feelings of accomplishment seeing all the positive breakthroughs that are achievable for all.
